IRKUT MC-21 FLAP ACTUATOR TEST RIG

The test rig allows for a number of actuators with differing drive geometry to be located on the rig , the input drive is simulated for speed and torque via a hydraulic servo motor and the output profiled load is applied via a closed loop servo controlled hydraulic actuator . Comar have supplied the total package simulating aircraft mounting, kinematics, loading and environmental conditions, including the integrated electronic control system.

PRODUCTION ACCEPTANCE (PAT) TEST RIG FOR INTER STAGE BLEED VALVES FOR PRATT & WHITNEY PW150 ENGINES

Current tests were taking over 6 hours / unit this was successfully reduced by more than 50% by introducing an electronic control system , dedicated instrumentation and an automated high pressure pneumatic system operating up to 400psi and a 1000 slpm.

Comar provide a test rig that carried out all of the tests in the aircraft CMM using a computer controlled hydraulic system for the unit supplies and control , with monitoring and logging  of locks , LVDT,s , velocities and strokes

AZIPULL TORQUE TEST RIG

The test stand had to cater for a variety of units  of different sizes and torques with driveline  speeds of 1-2rpm 0-70 kNm input torque  and output torques of 0-200 kNm. We manufactured and assembled in the UK completing FAT Tests then shipped to Norway and recommisioned. See our you tube page for a time lapse video of the rig being assembled.
