MOOG – B525R MAIN and TAIL ROTOR ACTUATOR TEST RIGS  for BELL HELICOPTER MODEL 525 RELENTLESS 

Two test rigs for qualification and production acceptance testing were designed and manufactured by Comar as a turnkey project. 

The test rigs were intended to provide aircraft surface simulation of loads , inertia , kinematics and system stiffness .

Passive and active loading systems hydraulically controlled were provided , with instrumentation , control and data logging facilities .

A hydraulic distribution panel provided the interface between the Moog hydraulic ring main supplies of aircraft fluid and loading system supply . A closed loop servo controlled linear actuator provided the means of controlling loads applied to the aircraft unit with data acquisition capturing the results .
