Fatigue and endurance rigs, torque and load with
representative stiffness and compliance. Electric
drive systems are sometimes preferred to hydraulic
for better frequency response, ease of installation,
low energy and less infrastructure. Comar use
a variety of actuation systems on their rigs interfacing
with diagnostic, control and monitoring software.
Designed to operate with a variety of fluids,
phosphates ester based fluids (Skydrol and Hyjet),
"Red oils" (MIL-H-5606, MIL-H-83282,
MIL-H-6083, MIL-H-87257), Mineral Oils, Water
Glycols and Kerosene. Open or closed loop supplies,
electric motor or diesel driven units, rugged
construction manufactured from aluminium, stainless
steel, with a variety of coatings available. Compact
design, ease of operation with supportable widely
available components utilised. 0'18 to 90 kw units,
single or three phase supplies.
Total Fluid Management (TFM), for hydraulic and
lubrication systems. To operate efficiently and
reliably it is imperative that the operating fluids
are in perfect condition: 70-80% of hydraulic
breakdowns are caused by contamination. TFM utilises
offline systems with integral online measuring
in accordance with NAS 1638 and ISO 4406

LabWindows/CVI and LabVIEW Graphical Programming,

General purpose PC based data acquisition, using
National Instruments LabVIEW. Sample rates of
upto 1.25 MHz across 16 analogue channels. Real
time display, high speed data logging, spectral
analysis, waveform generator output, offline playback
and charting.
For control systems requiring Programmable Logic
Controllers, support is offered for all major
PLC systems. Design and development of hardware
and software, embedded micor controllers, SCADA
and custom interfaces.
Bespoke system design, from high level, machine
sequencing, to low level time critical closed
loop control. Optimum solutions to meet customer
specifications. High speed 16 bit digital controllers,
sequencing, alarm monitoring, standard cards for
transducer conditioning and servo valve interfacing,
analogue and digital PID controllers for servo
applications.
