| The advantages
of achieving and maintaining clean oil are
obvious: |
 |
Enhanced oil
and system performance |
 |
Reduction in
component wear and unscheduled downtime |
 |
Extended life
for the whole system |
 |
Lower energy
consumption |
 |
Fewer system
filter changes |
Comar Fluid Power will advise
on the use of CJC Off-line filtration and demonstrate
how it will greatly improve system performance
and reliability, whilst dramatically reducing
the risk of sudden machine breakdown or catastrophic
failure of sensitive components.
Furthermore, significantly lower
operating costs can be achieved through extending
oil change and service intervals, and reducing
stocks of spare parts - clean oil is an important
factor in the protection of your plant investment
and its capital return.
SKYDROL - FLUIDS
Comar have successfully applied CJC filtration
to Skydrol
fluids in the aerospace industry, succeeding
in achieving better than NAS 4 levels of cleanliness
and the reduction in water content, saving many
thousands of pounds in downtime and reconditioning
of expensive fluids. These units are available
as portable units, dedicated off-line systems,
with or without contamination monitoring.
As
global environmental pressures and concerns grow,
oil continues to attract attention as it is a
non-renewable resource. CJC off-line fine filters,
filter separators and desorbers support the environmental
cause by extending the useful life of oils indefinitely
and thereby helping to reduce the volume of waste
oil generated and disposed of around the world.
Hydac filtration units OF5 with FCU 2010
The Hydac mobile filtration units for servicing
and offline filtration 40 I/min <3 micron absolute
levels. Used in conjunction with the Fluid Control
Unit allows constant measuring of levels of contamination,
a display shows the purity class obtained corresponding
to ISO 4406 or NAS 1638. Comar utilise these units
as part of their "Total Fluid Management"
services.
Fairey Arlon high pressure filters offer the machine
designer, builder and the user the ultimate in
hydraulic protection. High efficiency elements
greater than 98%, with a wide range of micron
ratings available and a choice of media from inorganic,
disposable mesh and high strength options. Operating
pressures to 414 bar and flows to 350 I/min.
Suction filters - Flow rates to 850 l/min. Mounting : immersed, external in-line, tank
In-line filters - Flow rates to 2600 l/min. Pressures to 40 bar. In-line, manifold parallel, single and duplex versions
Pressure filters - Flow rates to 700 l/min. Pressure range 110 to 420 bar. Mouting : in-line, manifold, sinle and duplex versions
Return filters - Flow rates to 2000 l/min. Pressures to 20 bar. Tank and in-line mouting. Single and duplex versions
High pressure and medium pressure filters: Available
in cast iron, alloy or stainless steel. Flows
to 1200 I/min, maximum working pressure to 700
bar. Duplex assemblies flows to 1200 I/min max
presures 80 bar. Pall's "Ultipor" media
give high beta values, strong elements, wide fluid
compatibility.
Kleentek Electrostatical Liquid Cleaners (ELC's)
are a modern method of contamination control.
They rely on the fact that insoluble contaminents
hold a polarity and by passing these, the oil
through a series of anodes and cathodes, these
contaminents can be removed and collected, minimum
particle sizes 0'05 microns, viscosity limit 600
cSt.
