COMAR are currently distributing in the UK Flaretite 37° JIC seals, made from 304 stainless steel, it is designed to eliminate weeping from both new and previously weeping joints that are not severely damaged. These joints have so far been used to solve leaks on existing systems, but will be installed as standard on all new systems with flared joints.
Key Design Features
- Available in sizes: 04 (1/4"), 06, 08, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24, and 32 (2").
- Seal Materials: 304 Stainless Steel, 316 Stainless Steel, or Copper
- Targets the most vulnerable point in the piping systems, the flared connection.
- Unique combination of ribbing and Loctite sealant locks the joint tight.
- Minimizes galling and deterioration of metal on flared joint.
- Low cost method of elimating the need for high cost product replacement or rework.
- Seals the mating faces of any standard JIC flare joint.
- Eliminates electrolysis that causes corrosion.
